We’re continually adding to our CLT knowledge through our research programs.
In partnership with the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, the Network is committed to increasing knowledge on CLTs and permanently affordable housing. We accomplish this through four main activities:
The Research Collaborative. We maintain a virtual community of researchers, academics, and graduate students who are interested in research or applied projects on CLTs or homeownership with lasting affordability. It provides opportunities for Collaborative members to identify opportunities for research, partner on grant applications, or collectively submit conference proposals. Participating is an excellent way to stay abreast of emerging research in the field and disseminate research to colleagues, practitioners, and policy makers. Join the Research Collaborative.
Publications Library. We maintain the largest collection of publications on community land trusts and shared equity homeownership. These can be accessed by topic through the Tools & Resources.
Network-sponsored Research Projects. We sponsor research on best practices, innovations in the field, and industry performance. We establish research priorities based upon our members’ needs and then partner with researchers to help advance our priorities through research. View Network-sponsored Projects.
Research Dissemination. We not only invest in research, but we’re also committed to sharing results to transform practice, impact public policies, and advance the field. We distribute this information through working papers, policy briefs, and publications. We also translate research into helpful case studies, assessment tools, fact sheets, webinars, and trainings.
