We’re the source for technical assistance, training, tools and resources.
Whether you’re looking to start a CLT or you’re an experienced practitioner, the Network offers help for you to take the next step in your work. We support the ongoing knowledge and skill building of our members through three program areas:
Technical Assistance. With support from the Ford Foundation, our technical assistance program increases the capacity of CLTs and permanently affordable housing programs to serve their communities. We offer technical assistance through capacity building grants, our help desk, our Forum, and referrals to consultants.
Training. Our top-notch training program provides members and partners with opportunities to strengthen their technical knowledge and practice. Intensive in-person trainings are offered at the Network’s national conference on an annual basis, at NeighborWorks’ National Training Institutes once per year or more, and upon request to local and regional groups. We also frequently provide scholarships to our members. Online trainings include webinars, video tutorials, virtual learning communities, and online college courses provided in partnership with Roger Williams University. Trainings
Tools and Resources: We maintain and organize an expansive library of tools and resources for CLTs and permanently affordable housing programs. We create or compile online videos and trainings, handouts and publications, example and model documents, and sample public policies. Tools & Resources
