Tom Angotti is a board member of the Cooper Square CLT in New York City. In 2006 the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy published his study comparing Cooper Square and two other CLTs. He has written extensively on community planning and development, and published six books including: New York For Sale, winner of the Paul Davidoff Prize; Service-Learning in Design and Planning; The New Century of the Metropolis; and Metropolis 2000. He is a founding member and leader of Planners Network (a national organization of progressive planners), co-edits Progressive Planning Magazine, and has contributed to and edited a number of scholarly journals.
