Katya Batlle, BA

Katya is working towards a Master’s degree in Psychology with an interest in community, critical, and liberation psychologies. Her thesis is inspired by Participatory Action Research projects and focuses on how very low-income residents are affected during gentrification and urban redevelopment. She is interested in learning how CLTs help alleviate the problem of affordable housing in the midst of gentrification.
