Potential Integration Update
The Network and Cornerstone Partnership are continuing conversations about the possibility of formally integrating the work of the two organizations. The Network board has appointed an Integration Task Force consisting of Brenda Torpy, Board Chair, Jesse Beason, Vice President, Marge Misak and Lisa Byers. The Task Force will have its first in-depth meeting with the team from Capital Impact/Cornerstone Partnership on October 24 in Washington, DC.
The focus of that meeting will be to determine whether we can craft a compelling and inspiring vision for a joint future that combines our resources and expertise to promote the creation, preservation and stewardship of affordable housing to help build strong, inclusive communities where people at all income ranges can afford a safe, decent place to live and thrive.
The Annual Meeting on October 22 at 11am Pacific/2pm Eastern will include an open discussion about the potential of integrating our work with Cornerstone Partnership. Please join us to share your thoughts and ideas.
There will be a variety of opportunities for members to share their thoughts over the next several months. As specific options emerge, we will seek and need your input! In the meantime, please feel free to contact me at Melora@cltnetwork.org
