The 2009 National CLT Conference, “Growing Sustainably from the Roots Up” is the largest gathering of Community Land Trusts—and it’s happening in Georgia, where the CLT concept was born in the 1960s. Building on the roots of our movement, we will focus on sustainability and the benefits of stewardship. Our local host, Athens Land Trust, will share its experience with an engaging tour of homes and conservation lands. Enjoy the beautiful Athens community and bring your challenges and inspirational ideas to share.
