Call to Action: Request that you legislators sign on to a letter supporting increased FY 2015 funding for the HOME Program
HOME funds are a vital source of financing for numerous affordable housing developments and a primary funding source for permanently affordable housing units. Currently funded at $1 billion in FY 2014, HOME funding has been reduced to less than 60 percent of its FY 2011 level of $1.6 billion. The Administration requested only $950 million for HOME in its FY 2015 budget.
Please call or e-mail your Senators’ and Representative’s offices and ask that he or she sign on to support the following dear colleague letters supporting increased FY 2015 funding for the HOME program. Find out who your representative and senators are here, and call the Capitol switchboard (202-224-3121) to ask to be directed to their offices.
